SNOW, SNOW, and more SNOW

Well, we were pounded with snow over the past two days. I believe our total for the storm was 14.5 inches. That is a lot of snow. The two little ones and I went out and played for a little bit in the afternoon. Our oldest was already out frollicing with friends. I love winter, but I think I can safely say that I can't wait for it to be over.

It snowed so much that Ash Wednesday services were rescheduled for this evening at 7pm. Let's all pray that we are done with snow for a few days. Have a great rest of your week.

It's been a while

I guess I have been so busy reading other blogs, that I haven't had time to come to my own. It has been a pretty busy week. We have had only one car for the past week and plenty of passing the car has occurred. We have had a school board meeting, a PTL meeting, basketball practice, swimming lessons, grocery shopping, girls night out and work along with all of our regular duties. We may have one of our vehicles back soon. As of right now we have one car towed to the dealership with a cracked something or other. We need a sensor changed on one of our work vans and the brakes fixed on the second work van. When it rains it pours!

On a much lighter note, this evening I was able to go out to dinner with the Mullen's girls. We ate at a little Italian restaurant in town. It was very good. I was quite happy to get out of the house. I have been a little stressed and definitely needed some time away. We just sat and talked and ate--you can't ask for much more!

I thought I would try to post a pic of our tree from last year--I don't even know if I took one of this years tree. I just love Christmas! I can't wait until it is here again.

New to the world of blogging

I thought it was time to throw my hat into the ring. It seems that almost everyone has a blog, and now I want one too. I think it would be a great way to keep in touch with family and friends that I don't see that often. So here I go!
